Summer reading program 2022

Summer Reading Program 2022

Registration for the Cathlamet Public Library’s Summer Reading program, “Oceans of Possibilities”, began June 19. The program, for readers of all ages, was co-sponsored by the Blanche Bradley Memorial Library Foundation. The library challenged readers to set personal or family daily reading goals and log titles of books they have read. Readers who logged titles of books they finished between June 19 and July 31, 2022 earned prizes along the way.

Besides the online reading challenge, the library hosted events Wednesdays, June 22 through August 3rd from 1-2pm, for children ages 5-15 and their families at Erickson Park on Columbia Street. Activities at the events include outdoor story times, make-and-take ocean-related crafts, games, and a final awards party with snacks, certificates and more prizes August 3rd from 1-2:30pm.
